HTTP - standard web downloads, with manual install FTP - standard downloads plus the ability of the Unreal Tournament games to automatically download and install them on an "as needed" basis. This area will just be big "file dumps" with no discernable order to them... it has to be that way in order for UT to download the files during gameplay. I'll try to organize Quake downloads by category in big zip files, so you can get several maps or models at once here. Quake 3 requires (on my server, anyway) you to manually download and install them (move them to the proper directory). That's because it doesn't have a redirect function like Unreal Tournament does. It would affect everyone's gameplay if I allowed the server to "feed" you the files while people are playing.
Current hot beta maps that we're callvoting: phobos beta 1.pk3, takkie3dm1-pka.pk3, amon3tourney01-pka.pk3, and zih_roof-pka-b1.pk3 Note: these are native pk3 files - drop them into your pkarena folder - DO NOT UNZIP THEM.
